All Things Good And Nice C.I.C are ridiculously pleased to have been awarded £19,746 from the National Lottery Community Fund to roll out our Footpaths To Wellbeing project.
This will allow us to continue the vital work we have been doing, and build on it with new activities that will benefit even more people whilst utilising the healing power of nature. How do we know this? Because we listened, and now we have the opportunity to make things happen!
What’s Occurring?
Our mission is to provide nature based activities that will help to combat such things as loneliness, anxiety, and poor mental health in general. The project Footpaths To Wellbeing will enable us to continue with our super successful, and vital Monday walks, and also branch out with other activities which will benefit greater numbers and also target those that, for various reasons may be missing out.
Bringing Families Together
Sadly, due to technology, the way we work and the rise of screen time, we are seeing a big change in the way families spend time with each other. We will be tackling this positively by creating a serious of nature based walks designed to bring families together. These will be simple enough to rinse and repeat to enable people to conveniently work them in to their week.
Let’s Not Forget The Kids
Whilst our main focus has been on re-connecting adults with the natural world, it is vital to keep our children connected and for them not to lose their inquisitiveness, and sense of wonder. We are certain that if we carry this connection through to adulthood, it will help our well-being immensely.

Trees play an incredible role in combating climate chaos, and All Things Good And Nice are proud to be working alongside other local organisations to get things planted. This will shadow ALL of our activities moving forward, and help to create a better future.
And for helping us enable all this, helping us make a positive difference where it’s most needed amongst our community, we owe a massive debt of gratitude to the National Lottery Community Fund.
