The team at All Things Good And Nice are delighted to have received a very generous £5,000 grant by Ørsted’s East Coast Community Fund!
This will support our Wellbeing Canoe trips project for 2024-2025, and we cannot wait to get on the water!

The funds were awarded to us as part of Ørsted’s Community Benefit Fund, administered by Grantscape, and will be helping local people connect with nature to improve wellbeing and mental health.

Our organisation prides itself on its ability to provide activities which utilize nature as a wellbeing tool. Our current projects include our extremely successful walking group and nature walks and talks for children. We did however, notice that there was a need for one-on-one support for those that needed that little extra time out, and so our canoe project was born.
Core to many of our activities is The Canoe River Cleaner and we are thrilled that he will be facilitating the project which will provide bespoke canoe trips to improve the mental health and general wellbeing of the participants. The unique eco system that thrives in Lincolnshire is a story worth telling and connecting people with nature is at the heart of this.
James Elliott The Canoe River Cleaner.
I’m thrilled to be part of this and to show people the healing benefits of being on the water seeing nature from a different perspective. I’m sure that everyone involved will have both an exciting and memorable time.
Vince Weavers, Strategic Planning and Implementation Lead at Ørsted said: “I was lucky enough to join James out on the water and see the great work he does. Nature has a great healing quality, and this project is another great example of Ørsted giving back to it’s local community.”

The Project will last for a year and our aims include:
· Providing individuals with a unique experience which they won’t forget.
· Help to reconnect people with nature and to show it’s healing benefits.
· Signpost to other activities within our organisation that would benefit long term.

Since 2015, over 700 local projects, community groups and charities have been awarded a share of over £10 million from Ørsted’s Community Funds, administered by Grantscape.
The East Coast Community Fund is one of three available that helps support local groups and organisations in the coastal regions where Ørsted operates.
