Biggest haul to date!
We started the day feeling positive, got our protein bars down the hatch, had a quick photo, and set to work.
Little did we know the severity of the task ahead as we naively walked towards the six copses of trees that sat adjacent to our River Freshney. All we knew is that we wanted to make a difference to the local community and end the day NET POSITIVE! Giving more back to the community than we take is a mission that is at the heart of All Things Good And Nice and the volunteers we have get fully behind our ethos.
Just a few bags…….
It soon became apparent that it wasn’t going to be a ten minute job, as the cries of dismay echoed around the trees and bags upon bags were collected in quick succession.
A total of 41 bags, and the usual debris was collected including half a bath!
ALL of the litter and waste was kindly collected by our partners at Lilliput Waste Disposal Ltd
