A positive start to the day – weekly reset

Having the weekly walk with Jim, Neil, Eve and the team has been the highlight of my week for the last month. The interesting conversations, the positive outlooks, the fresh air, the scenery. All finished off with a cuppa, what more could we want. Very grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many amazing people I would otherwise not have encountered. Thank you ATGAN

A must for everyone

I couldn’t praise and respect these people who run the group more .As soon as you arrive they’re there with such a warm welcome you instantly feel part of a group and relaxed too .
Everyone is cheery helpful and certainly inspiring and that’s without the walk !!
Born and bred in Grimsby and having spent my childhood picking samphire and cockles I can honestly say I’ve never done such an early and inspiring walk .
So a massive THANKYOU to all

Fun ,laughter ,fab folk and even gets your brain into gear

Friday quiz and gentle walk around Grant Thorold park with Jim and other lovely folk has to be the highlight of my week
I use a walker and struggle with mud so I’m easily able to use the footpaths and it’s all done at a steady pace …
The quiz is lighthearted but it does get your brain into gear
Thanks Jim for helping me to end my week on a high

A little piece of heaven

I feel extremely lucky to of stumbled across this group on Facebook and after looking at many walks took the plunge to join my first one last year now. This walk I attended with my son and this year I attended again but with my sister.
James is very welcoming as are the other members of the group. The walks are informative with James giving his knowledge on the area and wildlife.
For me the walks are an opportunity to go places I might never go on my own with a guide who knows the area. I feel safe and wouldn’t hesitate coming on my own which is something I would never of done before.

The Sixhills walk is very special! It’s was grounding, it gave me a massive reset at a time in my life when it was really needed. Getting outside and alongside nature, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying new things such as the wild swimming have been amazing!
Connecting with people, meeting new people. I cannot recommend this group enough and I hope to get on many more walks in the future!

Great Walks

It’s good to be able to walk to places I wouldn’t normally walk to alone, (especially in the evening) and feel entirely safe.
The Monday walks are friendly, welcoming, well planned and informative with just enough physical challenge and plenty of chat along the way.
The fact that they are all year round is an added bonus.

Amazing, inspirational!

Going back a few years I discovered Jim and his Canoe activities and his All good etc and I’ve followed him and his amazing activities, experiences constant offerings!! Bumped into him at Geimsby in Bloom and The Priory with Brad. Sadly I’ve not got fitter and earlier this year my husband passed and even though I’m very motivated and outgoing I’ve been very busy and don’t seem to have increased the fitness to participate in the longer walks. I would love some shorter walks to build up the participation. I love what you’re are doing, Jim and family and team and Comrades are amazing! Inspiring for 100% definite!

Extremely well run and organised.

Been on a few of the walks with this amazing group. Jim and his team are always there to support and guide the group, ensuring all road crossings are manned so the group cross safely. They find some great walks, some with a watering/feeding hole at the end. Although I’ve only attended a few of the walks due to other commitments, I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed them, bought along friends and felt very safe with them. He makes sure everyone is welcomed too.

No more Blue Mondays

Finding wonderful new walks right on our doorstep devised and led by Jim and Adam have cleared my head many a Monday evening. Sometimes I’m feeling too tired to bother but once I’m out there putting one foot in front of the other, my mind clears, I’m absorbed in nature (and a fair amount of chat with my friend!) and end up feeling energised.
I’m sure I sleep better after those walks too!

Safety in numbers

I’m a young-ish widow I did have 2 dogs until last week now only 1 sadly. I found that after a day at work iI felt nervous to go out in the dark on my own to walk the dogs. I am also adjusting to living alone after my children have fled the nest. Monday nights are a great start to the week as it is a fast paced walk so you definitely feel like you have had a workout. The walking group are friendly however I would say that it can still be quite daunting to go out socially on your own as a female, so that is potentially something Jim which might deter other people on their own from venturing out. (Feel free Jim to edit this and maybe make me a little more anonymous if possible)

Well organised walks with a warm welcome

We’ve now taken part in two of the Monday walks and have thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. Despite the impressive number of people who take part, the walks are exceptionally well organised. The routes are thoughtfully planned and showc off some of the county’s beautiful scenery.

What really stands out is the wonderful sense of community on these walks—a true testament to the effort and care that All Things Good & Nice put into them.

We’re very much looking forward to joining many more in the future.

Walking back to happiness

Sometimes we need a push to do the things that are good for us. Walking heals us, its effects felt in the short and long term. Caring for all forms of life relates to this too. Being in nature is like music – it soothes the savage beast – it resets us in a mad world and plugs us into our nomadic soul from which we have been removed. Anyone who champions biodiversity is a forward and necessary do-er in our crazy monoculture world- All things good and nice is an antidote to this. Respect.

Fun for everyone

The work girls stumbled across this group on Facebook. We bit the bullet despite being nervous about going along with everyone and people we didn’t know. The first time we came 5 weeks ago we was made to feel welcomed, and James really took his time to talk to us. Everyone in the group is lovely and approachable and it’s nice to feel part of something really special that gets us out walking once a week! We looks forward to many more walks with a great bunch of people.

Wholesome Nature Walks

I heard about these walks through work colleagues, who did their first one and were buzzing about what a friendly, well organised and informative bimble through nature they’d had.
Curious and well up for a bit of friendly chat, a walk in our lovely countryside and some exercise t boot 🥾 I thought what’s not to love and joined them at the next one.
It did not disappoint! Jim Adam and Eve (no biblical pun intended) lead a relaxed, but well organised evening walk along and around the sea front. The sun made an appearance and despite the wind it was thoroughly enjoyable.
Chatted to some unexpected old friends that were there and met some new ones too! All like minded folk looking for a little calm in the madness of life.
Great way to spend a few hours of a Monday Eve and to the Boomtown Rats?…..Tell ya why, I DO like Mondays!!!
